petal is a live photo wall for weddings and events. A host makes a gallery; guests scan its QR code and add photos from their phones; the photos appear on the host's big screen and in the gallery. These terms cover hosts (the people who make galleries) and guests (the people who add photos). By using petal you agree to them.

Galleries and accounts

• Hosts sign in with Google. You're responsible for your account and for anyone you invite to help run a gallery.
• Each gallery has a link and QR code. Anyone with the link can view the gallery and, while uploads are open, add photos. Share it with the people you want there.
• You can hide or delete any photo in your gallery, close uploads, or delete the gallery.

Plans and payment

• Free: up to 100 photos per gallery, photos only, kept 30 days, and up to two free galleries per account.
• Unlocked gallery (S$4.98, one payment): up to 5,000 photos and short videos, full-quality originals, kept for a year.
• Host plan (S$48 a year): every gallery you make is unlocked while the plan runs. It renews each year until you cancel. If you cancel, your galleries stop taking new uploads at the end of the paid year, and their photos stay to view and download until their keeping period ends.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in Singapore dollars. Because an unlocked gallery is available straight away, payments aren't refundable once a gallery has been used, except where the law says otherwise. If something went wrong, write to us and we'll sort it out.
• To keep petal fair for everyone, a host plan includes up to 100 GB of photos across your galleries, and very busy galleries may be asked to slow down for a day.

Photos

• Guests keep the rights to the photos they add. By adding a photo, a guest lets the host and petal store it, show it on the big screen and in the gallery, and let the host download it.
• Only add photos you took or have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or sexual. Hosts can remove anything; we may remove content or close a gallery that breaks these rules.
• Photos are kept for the gallery's keeping period (30 days on free, a year when unlocked), then deleted. Download anything you want to keep before then. Deleted photos can be restored for 30 days.

The service

• We work hard to keep petal running, especially on the day, but it's provided as is and we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Keep your own copy of anything important.
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll show it in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
